Having decided to stop taking part in RR (simply ’cause it takes up too much of my time) and apropos of absolutely nothing I just thought I’d share my love of Radio Futura with my fellow spillers. This is a band whose songs I occasionally nominated over on the mothership. They were one of the leading lights of the Movida Madrileña of the early to mid eighties and produced some damn fine rock / pop that I think stands the test of time. Here’s half a dozen reasons why I like them. Lambre’s gonna murder me for the sloppiness of this post, but what the hell! I haven’t included my absolute fave ’cause it was an earworm only a week or so ago. I would link to their website but it seems they don’t have one.
