Lots of good stuff there – Alt-J was the only song I’ve heard, and probably the next album I’ll be buying – something Beta Band-ish about them. Plenty of others that merit further investigation.
I have one Marissa Nadler album, which is the perfect record for playing at 1am with a wakeful baby.
The new one feels a bit like leftovers from the last one – well worth a listen, though.
Great to hear these sounds; new Japandroids. Oh yes! Crank it up! Especially loved the Walkmen, Savages, PIL, Here We Go Magic, Diablo Swing Orchestra, El-P tracks.

As far as I know, Blimpy & Steen hold the keys. Would suggest e-mailing Blimpy if the problem is ‘Spillside. If it’s security software – there should be a setting for approved programs or websites. If it’s where to sign-in after WP boots you out here’s a link to the WP page with log-in boxes in the header.

This laptop of DsGran’s doesn’t appear to have any problem with The Spill, but my three machines at home (using one 3-user set of software) have all blocked it completely.
Thanks for the heads-up about the new Soulsavers record – didn’t know about it, but have ordered it immediately. Dave Gahan is a brilliant choice to step up to Lanegan’s mic, and I love the gospel feel again in this song.
Daren’t listen to any more on DsGran’s very limited broadband deal, but I owe you just for that one song.

A paid version of Malwarebytes continues to serve me well – good security without being over zealous. Also no compatability problems with either Avast or AVG antivirus software (you only need one, but both are free & do a good job. Currently using Avast as it is a little faster & consumes fewer resources).
You may be able to tweak what you have. If not would change it out.
I am now getting a message at the top saying Firefox prevented this site from opening a pop-up window.
Hmm, no problems with Safari.
Suspect the new WP player might be giving a false positive as a pop-up. The format chanef a couple of weeks ago & those of us on Apple mobiles can now play the mp3 playlists. Good for us, possibly not so much for the rest of you.
