Bass riffing really is a whole separate can of worms, isn’t it. I know Marco has proposed it as a topic before, and Beth did the Spill challenge. Hysteria was great, and i loved Dreamworld. I can take or leave most of Primus – like some songs and most doesn’t grab me. But they’re definitely heavy hitters in the bass dept.
Hope to catch the second half of the list later – crust to earn now…
Pop Group are in (by fastest finger Fred for Discordant songs, I think), but not solo.
The JJ riff is one of my favourites – wold have nomiated if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s only there in the intro so didn’t seem to be on topic.
Also thought about Killing Joke – Pssyche but didn’t want to undermine the dondwagon that built up for Requiem.
Hey, William’s Back. Good to hear from you. What have you been up to (did it involve preparations for an excellent, complicated, Olympic themed raffle, by any chance)?

Wouldn’t get your hopes up – although “Change” must be getting lonely as the only KJ listed.
The JJ Burnell definitely my fave. Very interesting selection. Bass riffs are definitely my thang.
Looking forward to listening – no time at the mo, but, as a converted bass player, I do like a bit of boom-twang now and again.
