Trouble Ahead? Trouble Behind!

For reasons I won’t explain here, my series of posts following the dates of the Grateful Dead’s 1972 European tour has ended on this site.

For any of you wishing to continue my pseudo-historical journey, the remaining dates will be remembered HERE, starting today.

All are very welcome.

There will be something new there (ir)regularly until at least May 26th.

  1. Ha! Nice link with the thread title, Chris.
Though I do hope you’re not “high on cocaine”!!
Yes, I’ll see you over yonder.
    Rich C.

  2. Shame, enjoyed the history flashbacks even if.. well, you know.

Mickey Hart & crew were at Wanee last weekend. Didn’t go this year, but my friend reports that they got in their set before the heavens opened.

    • Thanks, shoey. I’m continuing with the history stuff over in my new home even if.. well I know….

I’m not actually a big fan of Mickey’s: he seems to have quite an ‘overpowering’ personality; certainly clipped Billy’s wings when he rejoined.

  3. Hi Chris

I have listened to all the Grateful Dead posts and enjoyed them all very much and I am sorry I did not take the time to comment as much as I should have done.

I will definitely follow the posts on your new blog.

  4. Well, that’s at least half a dozen of you, anyway… Thank you all for the support, whether explicit or tacit.

I don’t seem to have got all the settings right yet over there: some comments are being held for my ‘approval’. Does anyone know where the switch is that removes this Big Brother option?

    • Hi Chris

to enable unmodded commenting, go to Dashboard.

Click on Settings in the menu in the left hand column.

The fourth option that appears on the new menu is Discussion.

      Click on this option.

A new screen will appear with loads of options you can either check or leave unchecked.

      The Fourth heading is:

Before a comment appears and there are two options:

An administrator must always approve the comment
Comment author must have a previously approved comment

Make sure that neither of these are checked.

      Save changes that’s it.

      • Hmmm… I unchecked those boxes yesterday. Maybe it was just a ‘one-off’, as I’ve not had to approve anything else today. Thanks for the help, anyway.
