  1. I thought I was bitter and twisted about lurve, Shoey, but that flowchart takes the biscuit! I take it Mrs S hasn’t seen it….

btw I think you have the ‘no’ and ‘yes’ actions reversed at the bottom.

    • “Does She Still Care” that she saw the flowchart, as opposed to does she care in general & it works. & no she hasn’t seen it.

  2. I’ve got a long day trapped in front of the computer, so very glad to find a new list here. Listened to the first half so far – love it. Getting dangerously close to some rock and funkage. Especially loved the Mekons, Dub Syndicate, and House of Love.

  3. Mekons -Where Were You? is a great song indelibly associated in my mind with long years of getting nowhere whatsoever in the relationship stakes!

    • If ever there was a band from the punk era that satisfy the “one classic song” epithet then the Mekons are it. But what a song !!

  4. LOVED Mekons – Press – Goats – Monochrome Set .. and haven’t played any House of Love for a good long while enjoyed that too…

all good.. very much enjoyed the listen. Ta.

      • me and the Ms. are getting a bounce on (that’s my dancing style – nothing rude) to Withered Hands ‘heart heart’
I do compile a CD every year for our anniversary – it’s today – some of the tracks stick around – some fail – but they do need time to bed in – so to speak… luckily she doesn’t take in the words as much as me, so I don’t have to analyse every turn of phrase, for suitability.

(i’ll drop some tracks for you soon – but I have a sick one year old to contend with – so my mind keeps getting distracted by more important things – and vomit cleaning….. )
