  1. Wonderful list. Yuck are very big favourites in the Fuel household. The owner of my favourite record shop had this playing when I went in and I bought it almost instantly. He’d seen me standing at the traffic lights and knew just what to play to get me to part with my cash. Happy New Year to you and yours and the RR world

  2. that was a great listen Shane….the perfect accompaniment to some serious essay writing.
Particularly liked the BSP opening track and the Neutral Milk Hotel (a band I missed out on the first time around) tracks and the Congotronics stuff. I’d heard the Roots Manuva tracks already, but they were really great too.

Lots to investigate – cheers Shane !

  3. Thanks as ever. Familiar with BSP, need to be more familiar with Wild Beasts in particular.

I think In The Aeroplane Over The Sea is on of the greatest albums ever made, so why haven’t I bought On Avery Island yet?

  4. Almost forgot the Congotronics – snuck in in late 2010. The On-U 30 didn’t amount to much, but at least they’re still going. & how come you’ve got more Reworked Trentemoller tracks than me?

  5. Thanks everyone for the listen – it’s been a busy old winter here hasn’t it?

and also for the compliments on the art – the Ms now has a version as a screen saver – if she likes something I get extra chuffed.

Reworked / Remixed came with 25 tracks – what did you get shoey? e-mail me and we can do swaps.

barbryn – Neutral Milk Hotel released a box set of brilliance last year .. (I cheated and had a track in 2011 festive spill) – but he is going to do a pay what you want bandcamp for the unreleased tracks.

there’s some interesting things to listen to on the site as well.

I really like Wild Beasts – shall try and sort a selection out for you over the weekend.

panthersan – I will try and drop the Yuck b-sides in the box for you and fuel (if you don’t have them)
