Absolutely tremendous new song and video from ‘Spill fave PJ Harvey. I especially like the use of a camera obscura in the last quarter of the video, it’s always something that I’ve wanted to utilise on film. This song, along with “Written On The Forehead”, that previewed a wee while ago – are all shaping up for a very promising album which may well be out on Valentine’s day.
February is looking like a stupendous month for new music…

I just love how she says “oh bugger” in her lovely English voice at the start when she messes up.
Also, Cat Stevens doesn;t call himself Cat Stevens these days, does he? So I guess the name must be up for grabs.

They’re easy to play but I imagine tuning is a nightmare.
I’ve had a play with a zither, which I imagine might be similar for tuning, but obviously simpler, overall, I think I’d get my brother to do it for me, he likes fiddling with such things.
Maybe some stay in tune better than others – like my guitar, for instance, which is almost always in tune. Just as well too as I’m hopeless at tuning it.
