A brazilian brother & sister just started working at the restaurant where I work. They’ve been here a few years, but they’re … well, they’re nice to talk to. Apparently they’re from the same part of Brazil as Gilberto Gil and Caetano Veloso. I got some good movie recommendations.
Yep, it’s sweet, nothing revolutionary about it, but it’s perfect when I’m in the mood That would be Bahia they’re from, coincidentally, Lower City (Cidade Baixa), which takes place in Salvador de Bahia was on TV recently, that’s pretty good too.
I saw Lower City, I think, because it had the same actor as The Man Who Copied, and I liked that one a lot.
There was another that you recommended I was trying to recall, but I don’t remember enough to even ask about it. It had a plot twist, I think, can’t remember…
