  1. …and the video – doesn’t that make 12.. (or am I miss counting too?)

when I get to play later I can remove ‘the basement’ and ‘the show’ from mine… cool tunes.. if I could get back on RR I would heartily dond.

back for a better listen later.

  2. Shane, I’M Ms. Counting. You can be Count Counting.

I hope I didn’t steal The Basement and the Show from you? I’d forgotten what a good track the Basement is. KICK ASS!

Ejay – When Ejay lists come back! Actually – when I have time. And I like when I can come up with a list that’s varied in genre – always makes me want to post. This topic was surprisingly rewarding for me, in that way. Upon reflection, I think I can safely say that topics that apply to many genres are my favorite topics.

  3. I am the Count and I count as well as I Ms.spell.

you didn’t steal The Basement and the Show.. I just chucked them straight into my playlist last night.. but actually my first thought was ‘Concerto Of The Desperado’ as it was the first Roots track I heard (I think) but didn’t get the album Illadelph Halflife til you sent it… so weird syncranicity (buggered with the spelling for that word!) for me.

I’m finding this subject odd.. because I really want to twist it. I seam to be going for rap battles and free festivals.. more than a band playing a gig… the rest- as ever- is an odd throw away line, about being on the guest list or something or even ‘Motel blues’ rock star takes young girl back after gig.. seediness song…

oh well – might make my mind up by tomorrow night.. sleep now.. as I’m going to brave a swim in the sea in the morning (in North Norfolk it’s a nuts thing to do at any time of year)

  4. Shane, Go to Mundesley on an ebb tide for your swim. Long sloping beach means that the water warms up quite nicely (and I’m someone who thinks the Mediterranean can be on the cool side).

    • Mundesley is lovely – and just up the road – we pop over to Happisburgh mostly.. the destruction of nature brings out huge fascination in Z-boy.
In August my friend came for a swim (he’d been living in Turkey for a few years – the photo I have of him dipping his toes in the water is a joy to behold)

If the weather holds up, we shall do Mundesley next weekend.. got a hole bunch of friends turning up.. and that is a cracking idea…
