Great list, Shoey! Another one that makes me feel I know nuffink – but am happy to be educated. I think the Edwyn Collins is the only one I’d heard before. Particularly love the Luxuria – maybe not as on-topic as some of the earlier reggae choons (which are also ace) but great song. Oh, and just got as far as Sunset Rubdown, which I’m enjoying immensely too. (Incidentally Track 9 is showing as ‘File not found’.)
Anyone know what’s going on over on the Mothership, btw? Has she sunk? Not that I have much to contribute to the topic, but the comments seem to be broke…
Hey Bish. Doing a bit of editing – should be fine now. Edwyn was a bit of a stretch even for a ‘Spill tangental – so now Gary Clail & Tackhead finish it up.
Oh, Mothership is in stealth mode – posts are invisible after a certain point. You can add to them (post counter goes up), but can’t see them yet – they will probably show up later. Adds a new twist to the game.
It’s not just the fact that you can’t see if you’re nomming or donding, it’s the complete sabotage of any sort of conversation, which is the main reason I visit the mothership at all these days, esp. when sulking about this week’s list and feeling uninspired by the topic…
