I have never got The Jazz Butcher in a RR playlist..so here is a pressie made entirely from the skins of dead Jim Morrisons. Hope the pictures are squiffy enough for you.
Hi saneshane – thanks for posting these. The first one (Jazz Butcher?) was a bit noisy for my taste but I enjoyed listening anyway. Who was the third one? Sounded a bit like Hefner but I don’t think it was…
1 the Jazz Butcher2 the Indelicates 3 Los Campesinos! http://www.jazzbutcher.com/htdb/audioNow toffeeboy that jazz butcher may have been too loud for you, but judging by your taste, you may find stuff you’ll like. (I could be way off but that’s the link for any one who might be interested..scoll to the Sy Kloop Studio..for more restrained versions)’Soul Happy Hour’ being one of THE Drinking songs for those celebrating at the moment!
I grew up listening to the Seekers. My panerts had a couple of their records and for some reason my brother and I listened to them a lot. I have no explanation for this other than the fact that it was the late 70s and we were five or six years old. It’s definitely one of my favourite musical moments from the Simpsons though.
