It looks to me like they are trying to fly into a very strong head wind … and failing. I live near some reservoirs and one of my favourite sights is to see a skein of geese slowly forming. I don’t really know why. It just seems wonderful.
Where I work, there’s a lake outside and the resident geese have just produced seven of the cutest flufiest little goslings you ever did see.Altogether now, awww…

They look like they’re pogoing to a prime bit o’ punk rock. It’s a well known fact that geese are big fans of Sham 69.
